Head Equipment Operator
With over 40 years in the Columbus, Texas area, I bring a wealth of experience in equipment operation and road building. My 30-year career with the Texas Department of Transportation culminated in the role of Assistant Roadway Maintenance Supervisor. There, I managed critical infrastructure projects and led teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our transportation systems, honing my skills in road construction and maintenance.
Community service has always been close to my heart. My commitment to the community extends to volunteer service, including a decade as Chief of the Frelsburg Volunteer Fire Department and ongoing roles in the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Patty, for over 39 years. Together, we have been blessed with three sons who have grown into remarkable individuals. As proud grandparents, we now have the joy of sharing our lives with six precious grandchildren.

Born and raised in the charming community of Columbus, TX, I have dedicated my life to serving and protecting the people around me. Since the age of 18, I have been actively involved in volunteer fire departments, turning my passion for helping others into a fulfilling career.
Currently, I work full-time as a Battalion Chief at Fort Bend County ESD #2, where I lead teams and manage emergency response operations. My commitment to public safety and my community drives me every day, ensuring that I bring my best to every call and every situation.
On the personal side, I am married to the love of my life, Michelle. We have been blessed with over 13 wonderful years together and have two amazing boys. My family is my greatest support and motivation, inspiring me to strive for excellence in both my professional and personal life.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a degree in marketing, sparking a passion for connecting people and businesses. My background in strategic planning, consumer behavior, and communication set the stage for a dynamic marketing career.
In 2011, I married my wonderful husband, Brent Jr. and we relocated to his hometown of Columbus, Texas, embracing the rural lifestyle and its serene beauty.
As a mother of two amazing sons, I've balanced family life with a fulfilling career. I've worked with AT&T, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, and a construction company, gaining expertise in customer service, relationship management, and project management. These experiences have fueled my dedication to delivering exceptional results in every endeavor
